Fedor faced Coleman in the HW Grand Prix at Pride: Total Elimination 2004. Fedor had a lot of respect for Coleman and openly praised him for popularizing the groundnpound. The fight turned out to be a quick one with Fedor finishing him in the first round, eliminating him from the tournament.
